Why Is Looking at the Rave Ephemeris So Important?

When we look at the Rave Ephemeris there are three things we are looking at:

1. The impact of the program on our Design personally
2.  The program is affecting everyone in the Not-self world
3.  Babies born today carry this information for the next 70-90 years.

So, it’s fascinating: when looking at the Ephemeris, you are looking at generations coming into the world with an imprint of what that day may mean in their life. 

Whenever you know the position of the Sun in the Wheel – you can subscribe to The Daily View from IHDS – pay particular attention to the Line each day, besides knowing that for the next 6 days they will activate this Gate, every year at this time, with minor deviations as to things like Leap Years, as 2020 is. For the meaning of the gates and lines, you may consult the Rave I Ching (available from Human Design America, see my Link: ‘Resourses’. You also find the information in “The Definite Book of the Human Design” by Lynda Bunnell.

To understand your Ephemeris, look for the position of all planets, and not only how we experience the Sun’s energy on Earth. Just as the Lines in our Design signify particular nuances of each Gate, they indicate the particular cosmic energy “coloring” each day.

• 1 Line days – there is an underlying energy of insecurity, even fear, until proper investigation establishes a solid foundation. The energy is introverted and also absorbing and reflective.
• 2 Line days – are extroverted and projecting out: “do you want to go out and eat, shop, or go for a hike?” You may refuse as you cannot be bothered with others: saying “leave me alone.” When interacting, you may project out something you are not aware of.
• 3 Line days – you may literally bump into things or people, unexpectedly. Mistakes happen more easily, this being a “trial and error day” with consequences. It’s a day to be extra observant, and watch your driving! Most of all, it is a day to be adaptable to circumstances out of your control.
• 4 Line days – You are looking for opportunities to socialize with people you know, or those recommended by a friend. This is a good day to go shopping for food and other essentials, give a party, or go to an event with friends.
• 5 Line days – the projection may fall on you: can you deliver practical solutions? It is also a heretical day, having a seductive energy. Dealing with strangers goes well, as does shopping for practical items.
• 6 Line days – this is a day for time out and rest. Perhaps review the past 5 days. You may not yet see what progress you made, just observe without expectations. This is like the “weekend,” but does not always fall on a Sunday. If you have a 6 in your profile, this is a day you may try and be an example for others.
